They kill animals in brutal manner and waste food in the name of old tradions!! we wonder what would they call such discussting behavior if happens? in Africa or the Middleast??
To all the people complaining about the waste of tomatoes — The organizers of the tomatina take very good care to use only tomatoes not fit for eating. No one would? eat those tomatoes (no, not even starving africans). They are the rejects from the tomato growers, tomatoes that are too hard, too rotten or too nasty to eat (the people collecting juice in cups and maybe drinking it later are being stupid). All those tomatoes would be thrown anyway by the growers. Why not have fun with them?
It’s like a disgusting gross version of Mardi gra. What’s more fun then getting fluids all over your body that’s been sloshing on the floor and everyone else?? Oh wait, were those kids DRINKING that slop when they were pouring it into their cups?
